FeltActs was an experimental methodology and an online platform for performance that ran from March 2014 to March 2015 and culminated in the weekend long series of performances, HECKLE at Bosse and Baum in Peckham, London.
The online platform worked through an ongoing conversation between Bryony White and a rotating group of guest writers. FeltActs offered an online space for artists, writers, performers and curators to explore disciplinary, and critical approaches to performance. From within performance studies, literary studies, the visual arts, art history and museal and curatorial practices, we aim to take an expanded and non-standardised approach to the understanding of ‘performance’, in both how we write and in the work we write about.
Felt Acts was established by Bryony White in March 2014. Bryony has a Masters in Theatre and Performance Studies from King’s College London and is an independent writer.
